Grilled Turmeric Chicken Salad



This Grilled Turmeric Chicken Salad is a delightful combination of tender, flavorful chicken with fresh vegetables and a tangy dressing. The turmeric marinade adds a unique twist to a classic salad, making it a healthy and satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

To make a sauce for the chicken, mix olive oil, turmeric powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl

Cover the chicken breasts with the marinade

Give them a few minutes to soak up the flavors

Cook the chicken breasts on the grill for about 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have nice grill marks

After taking the chicken off the grill, let it rest for a few minutes

Then, cut it into strips

Put the mixed greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion in a large salad bowl

Place the grilled chicken slices on top of the salad

Put small pieces of feta cheese on top of the salad

Spread the balsamic vinaigrette dressing on top of the salad

Gently toss everything together to mix the flavors

Campfire Cone Marshmallows



Campfire Cone Marshmallows are a fun and easy treat to make while camping or enjoying a backyard bonfire. These sweet and gooey cones are filled with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers, creating a campfire twist on the classic s'mores.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of sugar ice cream cones
  • 1 bag of marshmallows
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of crushed graham crackers
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter

Instructions:

Prepare your campfire or grill for cooking over an open flame

In a small bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers and melted butter to make a crumbly mixture

Fill each sugar ice cream cone with a few chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and marshmallows from the bag

Sprinkle the graham cracker mixture on top of the marshmallows in each cone

Wrap each filled cone in aluminum foil, leaving the top open

Place the foil-wrapped campfire cones on a grill grate or directly on the campfire coals

Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the marshmallows and chocolate are melted and the cones are lightly toasted

Carefully remove the campfire cones from the heat using tongs or a long fork

Allow them to cool for a minute or two before unwrapping and enjoying your delicious campfire cone marshmallows!
